How We Work
Experience the difference of working with a radically collaborative partner — minus the stuffiness or pretentiousness. Our flex-to-fit framework is a people-first approach we've practiced and refined to address the challenges in modern business organizations, meet customer demands, and adapt to just about any organizational size, business case, extended program, or one-time project.
Our Flex-to-Fit Process
Each phase can flex to match your organization's need, timeline, and budget — expanded for a multi-month program, compressed for a one-week sprint, or run in whatever combination the moment calls for.
To frame challenges and zero-in on key opportunities, our team starts with laying a strong foundation. We will:
If more data is needed, we'll suggest a right-sized research plan — then deliver insights and recommendations to get going.
An Executive Summary grounds the team-at-large in the current-state problem space. Then a mini-workshop with key project stakeholders collaboratively defines the ideal future state.
We'll deliver a Project Brief with a well-crafted problem statement, key opportunities, and a recommended strategic approach.
Once the brief is approved, we create a corresponding project plan to keep expectations in check and the effort on-track.
When success is mission-critical, this key step mitigates risk by generating a blueprint we'll lean on as we bring the solution to life.
Together with key stakeholders in a mini-workshop, we ideate and explore conceptual solutions — then create a "just enough" prototype to test with real users, validating the best way forward.
Once the proto-solution is approved, Use Cases or User Stories will be delivered to fuel our backlog of work.
Bringing a solution to life is a little different for every project, but may include Content Strategy, Copywriting, Information Architecture, User Experience Design, Visual Design, and Production Design and Documentation.
If the project is going on to Development, we're available for Visual QA, design consults, and minor design tweaks.
If the project is going to Print Production, we handle proofing and press checks as needed.
A launch or rollout plan for digital projects may include a few extra steps like:
The goal is to ensure a smooth transition that leaves your team feeling confident and fully prepared to manage the release.
Launch is only the beginning. A clear plan to manage solution lifecycle lets us balance new goals or pivots with ever-evolving customer needs, keep solutions fresh, and boost your brand or product's staying power.
Sustaining a solution involves measurement and reporting, synthesis and analysis, evaluation and insights, then defining next steps to fuel iteration.
